Provides a transcription of the data held in eleven customs account books between the years 1503-1601. These comprise: 'Particular Accounts', 1503-64 [1503-04, 1516-17, 1525-26, 1541-42, 1542-43, 1545-46, 1550-51, 1563-64] and the Port Books, 1575-1601 [1575-76, 1594-95, 1600-61]. Presents the output of an ESRC funded project and the data transcribed being analysed to re-evaluate the economic development of southern Ireland.
